Morillon village is part of the Grand Massif ski area, the 4th largest in France and has 265km of runs, with Flaine being at 2480m. Free regular ski bus from Les Hameaux du Giffre takes 5 minutes to the ski telecabin.

'Les Hameaux du Giffre' is ideally located not only for winter skiing but for summer holidays as well with the 'Lac Bleu', a recreational/activities area just 2 minutes walk. Here there is swimming, fishing, horse riding, tennis, trampolining, mountain bike trails etc. The Giffre river offers rafting, canyoning, kayaking and other water sports. For cyclists there are many mountain bike trails and the Tour de France route, Col du Joux Plane 1700m is accessible from the beautiful and historic village of Samoens just 3km away. Fantastic for walkers at any time of year, explore the beautiful nature reserve and spectacular waterfalls at Sixt-Fer-a-Cheval or head up into the mountains.
