Built in the 1780`s by Mr Thomas H Marmion as one of the first mills to be established in the county.

It was subsequently used as a Charity Soup House during the Famine but it was returned to the milling business by the family of the current owners.

This extensive cut stone building has c. 10,000 sq ft over four storeys including a three storey store and has frontage onto Ilen Street (which was formerly named Steam Mill Street).

Situated on the banks of the Ilen river, it is a very prominent and historical building within the town centre and would be suitable to a wide variety of residential and commercial ventures.
