CONTRACTS MANAGER – CIVIL

The influx of construction work in Asia has created an opportunity for a Contracts Manager, working with a leading International Company on projects all over Hong Kong, South East Asia & the Middle East.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carry out contracts analysis, advice and formation of contract documents
• Attend meetings and negotiations with client representatives, PMs and other involved parties
• Raise claims, request for variations, price and negotiate variations with client QS
• Post-contract advice on commercial matters including dispute resolution to construction employer, contractors and subcontractors
• Drafting contractual correspondence to defend a claim & prepare counter-claims
• Oversee the QS department and protect the company contractually and commercially

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
• MINIMUM 7 years relevant experience including Contractual Administration
• Chartered individuals preferred
• Experience on large-scale civil projects
• Proficient ability to lead a team, excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong sense of commercial & contractual awareness
• Self motivated individual with high degree of professionalism and integrity
