As the first provider of aged care in Queensland, Wesley Mission Brisbane has a long and proud history of providing high-quality, resident focused aged care in a nurturing and supportive environment. With more than 950 residents living across 13 aged care communities in Queensland, Wesley Mission Brisbane is a leader in aged care.

Cooper House is a quality ageing in place residential aged care community set within Wesley Mission Brisbane’s Wheller Gardens complex.

Cooper House residents enjoy all the services and benefits of being part of the wider Wheller Gardens community that is home to over 350 residents across four communities.

Cooper House places a strong focus on community and boasts many areas for residents to gather and socialise, including a beautiful garden and gazebo. With two dining rooms, a lounge with a television, DVD player, stereo and piano, residents are offered regular entertainment an dactivities by a dedicated Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator.

With 58 rooms available, Cooper House is a tight-knit community. Visitors are welcome at any time and are encouraged to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with residents in the communal areas. A Church service is held each Sunday at 9.30am in The Sanctuary for those who wish to participate.

Cooper House is an easy walking distance from the Wheller Gardens’ Therapy Centre, giving residents convenient access to physiotherapy, podiatry and nutritional advice. Residents’ personal physicians are also welcome to visit Cooper House for in-home visits.

Other services available on-site include: a bowling green, library, pool, hair salon, family cafe, chapel and community hall. These facilities place an emphasis on well-being and enjoyment, and bring a strong sense of community to Cooper House.

Wheller Gardens is opportunely located in easy walking distance to public transport, Westfield shopping centre, multiplex cinemas and restaurants.
