Getting to the area is easy with flights from many UK airports into Limoges (58km) and trains at Dorat having links to services to Poitiers train station where you have TGV connections to Paris, Bordeaux, London & Brussels.

This is a French family home, now unoccupied and retains many of the original features; something we find less and less as they are snapped up to restore. Liveable in a VERY basic way; you could soon get this place in a state of good habitable space. The total land area is around 6.8 acres, 1.5 acres being woodland and 1.3 acres being the islands; which are also quite dense in wood.

The house has mains water and electricity; it is single glazed. Gas (bottled) and drainage is to a septic tank, which I would suggest would not conform. You do have an Oil Fired Central Heating System, which I would suggest would need maintenance; due to the house being unoccupied for so long.

Not for the faint hearted, but I would think well worth the effort when completed!
