Location and Setting

The house is 1 k from the delightful village of La Bazoge Montpincon and 3 K from the Town of Mayenne with its Medieval Chateau overlooking the river. Mayenne has excellent hospital and medical facilities and a twice weekly market. In the village of La Bazoge Montpincon there is a church, the Marie's office, a primary school and a delightful restaurant. The house is part of a small complex of 6 houses. The neighbours are very friendly and helpful at all times, the annual Fete des Voisins also involves neighbours who live a little further away. Within easy reach are the towns of Laval, Le Mans and Rennes. The historic Roman town of Jublains is nearby and there are some excellent walking and cycling routes close by. The journey by road from the Channel Tunnel takes around 5 hours. The nearest airport is Dinard (2hours) which has daily Ryanair flights from Stansted..
