This influence is well preserved despite the existence of other architectural styles. The village is living the whole year around and kafenia, taverns and supermarkets can be found there. A small drive away, one will reach Ombrosgialos, a small nice bay of turquoise water and in the other direction are the long sandy beaches of Georgioupolis.
