Derrick Man

Do you like working in a team? Do you have previous experience working in offshore? Our client is looking motivated Derrick Man to join their crew!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Main Accountabilities:
•Aid in the set up, transport and dismantling of service and drilling rigs.
•Monitor density, rate, pressure and concentration and adjust the pumping procedure as required.
•Take note of mud volumes and flows.
•Take samples.
•Help supervise labourers and floor hands.
•Manipulate and align sections of drill stem or pipe from the platform on the rig.
•Help with the removal and replacement of strings of pipe or drill steam and drill bit.
•Maintain the drilling rig motors, transmissions, drilling mud systems, pumps and mud chemicals additives and cements.

BACKGROUND:
Our Client is a multinational drilling company. The client provides deep water drilling services to various customers around the world. Our client has over 50 rigs ranging from jack-ups to semi submersibles and drill ships.

PRE-REQUISITES:
•Secondary Education.
•Experience in similar position.
•Self- motivated and independently driven.
