Dynamic Position (DP) Marine Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
• Undertake risk studies including Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Failure Mode and Critical Effect Analysis (FMECA).
• Prepare FMEA and FMECA documents.
• Responsible for preparing FMEA’s of DP vessel systems.
• Conduct DP trials and report results.
• Provide detailed analysis and review of dynamic positioning vessels and offshore systems.
• Liaise with other members of the team regarding development of FMEAs.
• Liaise with clients and suppliers to ensure completion of projects to client satisfaction.
• Maintain health and safety requirements during projects.

Requirements:
• Diploma/Degree in Engineering, preferably Marine Engineering or equivalent appropriate qualification.
• Preferably a holder of a Master Mariner STCW Class 1 certificate (unlimited) of competency.
• Min. 5 years in a DP role.
• Able to write clear and concise reports.
• Team player.
• Marine experience, such as previous experience with anchor handling operations, ocean tows, towage of rigs
• Knowledge of DP, automation and control systems.
