Location description

The house is only five minutes from Città della Pieve, a medieval town located on a hill dominating the Chiana Valley and Lake Trasimeno, on the border between Umbria and Tuscany, not far from Lazio.
The stunning landscape in the neighbourhood has inspired its greatest native son, Pietro Vannucci. He was also known as "Il Perugino", the painter from Città della Pieve that was Rafael's teacher.
In the valley below you find very convenient infrastructure: the railway and the "Direttissima" Florence-Rome (Chiusi trainstation is at 8 km), the “Autostrada del Sole” (exit Fabro 17 km to the south; Chiusi-Chianciano Terme 15 km north). Sant'Egidio Airport in Perugia with connection to London is 50 minutes drive.

Many delicious restaurants, as well as bars, shops and main services are found in Città della Pieve.

The Lamborghini Golf Club is a 15 minute drive.

20 minutes away there is also a spa pool with 38 degree water all year round, at the Spa Resort Fonteverde in San Casciano dei Bagni.
