Description:
The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day routine activity of the finance team, ensuring that all work is organised and carried out efficiently and within agreed timelines.
Qualifications and minimum relevant experience:
A minimum of 5 years’ experience within a similar role
Qualification in a recognised project management discipline
Accounting qualification, (ACA or ACCA) or similar
Background in finance industry is desirable
Competency in management and statutory accounts production (UK GAAP / IFRS)
IT literate with a high level of competence in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge of accounting packages and banking systems
Candidates must be classified as ‘Entitled or ‘Entitled to Work’ under the Jersey Control of Housing & Work Law.
