JOB TITLE

GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER *** SINGAPORE/SEOUL, KOREA

A great opportunity to be involved in major construction project! Openings for Geotechnical Engineer, working with an International Contractor based in in Seoul or Singapore.

With a high profile reputation, consistently associated with landmark projects and offering a full-integrated service, they are now looking to recruit to expand the Technical Advisory team in Seoul and Singapore.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• You will be involved with all major civil and infrastructure projects
• You will assist the production of design solutions, drawings, covering a range of project requirements from new build to modification, maintenance, refurbishment, foundation design and coordinating civil or structural engineering with geotechnical assessment
• You will supervise and support the geotechnical engineering works such as TERS (temporary earth retaining structures), excavation/shoring and foundation
• Ensuring all rock slope stability, excavation and earthworks material acceptability assessments are collated, construction supervision for geotechnical works including foundation and TERS
• Review analysis and be responsible for the design of deep excavations, subsurface investigation and geotechnical interpretations, instrumentation and monitoring works of TERS
• You will be guiding and leading the team on earth retaining wall and foundation and/or directly manage project scoping, designs, and provide contractual documents.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical). A Masters Degree would be preferred
• Minimum 15 years experience in design and construction of TERS (temporary earth retaining structures), excavation support system, foundation and relevant works
• Experience working for a major international consultancy preferred
• Good communication & interpersonal skills.
• Highly self-motivated, good working attitude with a high level of professionalism and integrity
• Good team player and adaptable to a dynamic environment
• Fluency in English
