The waters of the Ionian Sea are calm, protected from the north-eastern winds and the region is marvellous for water sports, such as diving at the sheltered coves. The wonderful island is situated in the Ionian Sea, close to the islands of Ithaki and Lefkada and the port of Astakos, with a total area extending to 4.470.000 square meters.

It comprises of four (4) beaches of which the biggest is 220 meters in length, full of pebbles and has sumptuous vegetation. At this sea-shore stands a re-established church, one well, one cistern for the collection of rain-water and one renovated two-story house consisting of a ground floor of 30m² and a first floor of 50m² which includes a kitchen.

The second of the 4 beaches is sandy, approximately 100 meters in length and features a cave of exceptional beauty. The other 2 beaches are with pebbles and of 50-70 meters in length.

At a higher level is a plateau of about 700 to 1.000 quarters of a stemma, includes a shepherd¢s hut, olive trees, almond trees and many more.

The geological and geophysical report for the finding of water has shown that situated at the biggest of the sea-shores and behind the cistern, there are stones which may contain water. What is necessary is transversal water drilling for the confirmation of the finding of the report.

The legal titles of the island under Greek law are perfect. According to Greek law islands are considered as “frontier area” and they may be transferred only to Greek citizens (now to all EU citizens) and not to foreign citizens (other than EU citizens).

If a prospective buyer is interested to obtain more information, he must appoint a Greek lawyer to check the legal status of the island.

Due to its close proximity to the port of Astakos and to the enchanting islands of Ithaki and Lefkada, it may be developed for distinguished tourists or for family use and investment. The majestic island is large enough to offer total privacy or could be suitable as a large resort thanks to its good access points.
