Chalet des Gérards is a magnificent chalet situated in a private position in the Chavants area of les Houches with commanding views of the Valley. Ski-in, ski-out to the Autannes piste in les Houches, it links directly to the Prarion télécabine.

The chalet was built in 1997 by the present owner using quality materials and finishes, including a stone roof and hand-crafted timberwork.

Our opinion
The chalet is almost unique in the Valley, being in such a private position as well as ski-in, ski-out. A quality build with potential to easily add bedrooms and bathrooms, but it is the terrace and panoramic views that will seduce you!

Chalet des Gérards is situated in the increasingly exclusive Chavants area of les Houches. Being above the Valley floor, it has panoramic views along the Valley and across to the Fiz, but it also receives more sunshine hours than most places in Chamonix.

The nearest ski lift is the Prarion, about 20 minutes walk away, but the chalet is ski-in, ski-out. The nearest public transport is in the same location, with buses running from Prarion into Chamonix and up the Valley to le Tour. The nearest supermarket is in les Houches itself, just over a 5 minute drive (3.4 kms).
