Puerto Pollensa is one of the most popular family holiday beach resort in the North West of the island, and offers great activities, beautiful beaches, a wide range of bars and restaurants. The Pine Walk Promenade is perfect for an early evening walk. This genteel, old-fashioned resort at the mouth of Pollensa Bay is popular throughout the year. The main beach is really fabulous. It’s long, wide and deep, made of golden sands and with wonderful views of the hills in the background. You can take boat trips from here, sail around the bay, or visit the beautiful beach at Formentor. The Port also hosts plenty of festivals throughout the year. Many are marine base such as regattas and seafood festivals. For artisan crafts and Mallorca products, we advise a visit to the nearby Pollensa old town. There are two golf courses nearby, the Club Golf Pollensa and the 18-holes Golf Aucanada. The Tramuntana mountains, the neighboring Cala Sant Vicenc makes a great opportunity to sample some of the fabulous outdoors that the island has to offer. The proximity to the Tramuntana Mountains makes it a great place to base yourself. Even, due to the excellent infrastructure, Palma, the cosmopolitan capital, is within easy reach (45 min).
