The Villa
It has great views across the stunning landscape to the mountains. The villa is ideally situated, approx 30 mins stroll from the lively village of Daylan, where all the amentities required for a great holiday can be found, including restaurants, bars , cafes, shops, transport links and medical assistance if you should need it. The villa can accommodate a maximum of 8 guests. It consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 with en suite facilities and sun balconies. The third bedroom on the ground floor has access to the downstairs bathroom. There is a a lounge/diner containing a sofa bed and log fire,leading onto the veranda overlooking the pool. There is a fully equipped kitchen and utlity room. The groung floor bedroom is ideal for the less able guests, please note there are steps to access the villa and pool. The private outdoor pool (approx 1.5m deep) is surrounded by a sun terrace with loungers and umberellas. There is a built in BBQ on the verana. The landscape garden is secure, with plenty of space for children to play. The garden and pool is lit at night, for those lovely summer evenings where you can enjoy the fantastic scenery and ambience.The villa has off road parking. The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region Dalyan is in an area of outstanding natural beauty, and the river delta is a national conservation site. There are many historic sites in and around Dalyan. The extensive reed beds harbour rare and varied bird and animal life. The Aegean coast is the most beautiful coastline of Turkey, with pine clad mountains dropping into the crystal turquoise waters. The weather is generally very good all the way through from April to October and can get very hot. There tends to be a gentle breeze which is welcome either in off the sea or from the mountains. Dalyan / Arikbasi Area As well as a great place to watch wildlife, walk, cycle and explore, there are many other activities on offer , something for everyone - , turtle spotting, quad bike safaris, paragliding, white water rafting, golf (new course opening Oct 2010 ), microlight flying, jeep safari, water sports, fishing, boat trips, a dip in the famous mud baths, traditional Turkish dancing, etc. Transport is available by means of river taxis to take you to the beach or lake, or boats for hire to take you out around the coast, the Dolmus (local bus) to take you to through the country side to the next village or beyond , organised coach trips, local taxis. Daylan market This is one not to be missed, the colourful Saturday market, is well worth a visit Here you can purchase locally produced fresh produce, spices, turkish delight, ‘fake designer’ clothes and accessories, holiday gifts to name but a few. An ideal opportunity for you to try out your haggling skills! Eating Out In Dalyan: Daylan has more than 100 places for you to eat and relax in, You will find good healthy food, typical Mediterranean staples... tomatoes, herbs, olive oil, fish, pasta, etc... which are not expensive. Locally you can find the garden restaurants , and a further out of town the special river and wildlife sanctuary restaurants, which offer free pick up and dro p off services for your use . Shopping In Dalyan: The shops offer a large variety of excellently priced goods, ranging from gold items, leather clothing, bags etc , carpets to souveniers. Nothing is too much trouble for the shop keepers who will give you a warm welcome . The main street is then a hive of activity with shoppers battering and holiday makers relaxing. Health: There are at least four chemists (Eczane) in town, working on a 24 hour facility rota, so you will always have access, any time of day or night.. The doctors are very good, they all speak English and there is also a health centre/clinic. Prescriptions are generally much cheaper than in the UK.

Paradise in Dalyan Iztuzu (also known as "Turtle Beach") lies at the mouth of a fabulous river delta. As the boat splutters through 10ft-high reeds, Lycian tombs slide by adorning the hillsides. The beach itself is a spit separating the delta from the sea, so you have the choice of freshwater or seawater swimming. Sun worshippers need armfuls of sunscreen as the only shade is at either end of the beach (and keep in mind that the beach is approximately 5 km. long), where there are limited sun loungers and facilities. The beach also is one of the last natural breeding grounds for the loggerhead turtle.
