Outstanding 2 bedroom flat in Eixample, Barcelona
Outstanding flat with two double bedrooms situated in the left side of the Eixample in Barcelona.
This great flat is very bright and well-distributed. It is on the third floor of a beautiful building dating from the year 1900, although the flat was completely reformed in 2007. It has a surface area of 86 square meters and consists in an entrance hall, a fully equipped and modern kitchen, a living room, dining room, 2 double bedrooms, and a complete bathroom. It also has plenty of storage space in the many fitted wardrobes and cupboards.
The flat has extras such as double glazing and pvc windows, wooden parquet flooring, and air-conditioning.
It is located in the left hand side of the Eixample district in Barcelona, in a tranquil area, close to the street of Diagonal. Barcelona is a very cosmopolitan city with much to offer from a rich culture, historic landmarks, stunning sea and beaches, mountains, gastronomy and a vibrant nightlife. The Eixample district was designed by Idelfons Cerda during the second half of the 19th century. It is characterized by its long and ample streets, for the design and layout of its blocks of buildings, known as 'manzanes' in Spanish, and for its flattened corners. Cerda's reason for incorporating the flattened corners was to allow for better visibility for circulating vehicles and for the incorporation of the gallery type balconies, usually home to upper-class families. Until this day, the Eixample is still a prestigious symbol of the city of Barcelona.
