Opis:

Our client are a multi-disciplinary specialist provider of detailed engineering, procurement and construction services to the offshore oil and gas, marine construction and other industries. The principal activities in their business includes services ranging from engineering, project management through the pre-construction planning, critical path development, construction / fabrication / site management, commissioning to the eventual hand over projects.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Perform Surveillance Inspection to ensure that the construction work is performed
and meet the project specific Quality Requirements
• Assist in the verification of in process inspection, final inspection and welding
• Responsible towards welding control and inspection
• Prepare and maintain Welding Audit Report during construction
• Record result of inspections and maintain records of specific items as per
contract/specifications
• Administer AFI request to Client and 3rd party and coordinate for inspection as
identified in the respective discipline ITP
• Raise Non-Conformance Reports as seen during inspection and follow-up on status
of rework and close-out. Attend to all potential problems to prevent occurrence of
defects.
• Arrange for proper NDT requirements as per specifications
• Interpret RT films pertaining to welding joints
• Establish and maintain inspection and NDT progress status on weekly basis
• Generate weekly weld rejection rate summary
• Witness all testing activities
• Monitor PWHT
• Prepare Test Packs for Piping Hydro static testing
• Prepare/comply the final punch list prior to delivery of the fabricated and assembled
components

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• AWS or CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector Certification is a must
• At least 3 to 5 years experiences in Marine or Oil & Gas industry
• Good team player, adaptable and has good communication skills
