* Verchaix
Access to the parking at the two Samoens telecabins is about seven minutes drive and the Morillon telecabin a little nearer. The Grand Massif ski area is really extensive providing a huge variety of skiing for all abilities. The proximity of the Mont Blanc massif ensures the snow depths are consistently the deepest in the French Alps. The north facing slopes of Samoens and Morillon retain good snow cover right through to the end of the season in April.
