The ancient mill pond has today been converted into a small restaurant, with splendid wood beams and a large fireplace characterise the environment which in part would have been occupied by the eighteenth century round table meetings, that can today host up to thirty guests. It offers a professional kitchen (in conformity with regulations) and two toilets. The exterior canopy is ideal for pleasant outdoor dining. The restaurant also boasts large car parking facilities for guests or clients.

The Mill is situated in an ideal location to explore the riches of Tuscany. The pretty town of Reggello, referred to as the "Town of the Olive Oil", is located just 4 km (2.5 miles) along the famous "Strade dei Sette Ponti", where there is also a typical market on Saturdays.

The health resort of Vallombrosa, famous for the purity and quality of air, is approximately half an hour drive away, and where it is ideal for hiking along the ridges of the Casentino mountains; these peaks provide spectacular views and reach 1,500 metres.

The nearby town of Figline Valdarno offers all the amenities, the train station and the entrance to the A1 Florence-Rome motorway.

The charming village of Greve in Chianti, in the heart of the Chianti Classico area, is located 25 km (15 miles) from the Mill with Florence being only 30 km (18 miles) away, the airport 45 km (28 miles), Arezzo 30 km (18 miles) and Siena 65 km (40 miles).
