JOB TITLE

REGISTERED GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER - *** HONG KONG

Our Client is one of the leading international consulting firms, providing world-class engineering services, to design, planning and corporate advisory services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- You will be involved with all major civil and infrastructure projects

- You will assist the production of design solutions, drawings, covering a range of project requirements from new build to modification, maintenance, refurbishment, foundation design and coordinating civil or structural engineering with geotechnical assessment

- Ensuring all rock slope stability, excavatability and earthworks material acceptability assessments are collated, construction supervision for geotechnical works including large scale earthworks, piling, soil nailing, rock bolting, and tunneling

- Review analysis of retaining walls for deep excavations with single and multilayer struts, cantilever contiguous bored pile wall, pile foundation, mat foundation, PIT test, instrumented pile load test and technical report writing

- You will be liaising with Contractors and advise and support them with respect to geotechnical queries and constructability/programme driven design changes

- You will be guiding and leading team and/or directly manage project scoping, designs, and provide contractual documents.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical), Masters Degree would be preferred
- Must be PREG (Professional Registered Engineer) will consider junior people
- Minimum 10 years experience
- MUST HAVE HONG KONG EXPERIENCE
- Experience working for a major international consultancy would be advantageous
- Good communication & interpersonal skills.
- Highly self-motivated, good working attitude with a high level of professionalism and integrity
- Good team player and adaptable to a dynamic environment
- Fluency in English and Cantonese.
