JOB TITLE
REGISTERED SAFETY OFFICER
Must be Registered Safety Officer of the Labour Department in Hong Kong.
Our Client has been involved in many major “groundbreaking” projects in Hong Kong with a multimillion-dollar annual turn over business; they are one of the leading construction companies in Asia and are looking for Safety Managers/Advisors to join the team in Hong Kong.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor and inspect health and safety around the construction site
Dealing with incidents, complaints and investigations when required and ensure policies are followed
Monitor, update, and comply with new legislation of Health and Safety programs and practices
Identify, investigate and report all health and safety issues
Develop and maintain tracking system monitoring all accidents
Identify and develop accident prevention programs
Coordinate and maintain equipment, tools, vehicles and lifts meet all safety requirements
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
Degree/Diploma in Safety, Engineering discipline or related
Minimum 2 years experience in Civil/Build projects in Hong Kong
Registered Safety Officer of the Hong Kong Labour Department
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Good understanding of Hong Kong safety regulations
Proficiency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
