An amazing property in the historic centre of Fermo.

The house dates back to the 1700s but the overall structure is much older as the big round room in the basement testifies: this room, indeed, is part of an ancient Roman Temple, still in excellent condition. The round room has always been used as a banquet hall, thanks to its unique style with arches and niches, decorated with the Roman remains found during the excavation.

The total area of house is about 475 sq.m. on 3 floors:

Basement:
Round Room of about 65 sq.m. built on a Roman Temple (later on a local mint) used as a banquet hall.

Ground Floor:
the main entrance hall is spacious and classy, thanks to its grand staircase, leading to the first floor.

From the hall, you have direct access to the double living room, plus an elegant dining room. Both rooms feature stucco ceilings, that perfectly match the prestigious atmosphere of the whole house. From here, you can exit out to the balcony, overlooking the wonderful landscape stretching from the sea to the mountains.

On the same floor there is a bathroom, a storeroom, a kitchen and a dining room, with a big fireplace, in perfect working order, useful for heating up the room but also for cooking some good food.

First Floor:
stepping up the grand staircase, you enter a large room with frescoed ceiling, which leads you to the 4 bedrooms. This room could be used as a private study or a sitting room, where you can have breakfast and relax before stepping down to the ground floor.

All the 4 bedrooms feature beautiful and elegant frescoed ceilings, perfectly preserved and illuminated by antique chandeliers. The two master bedrooms are spacious and have ensuite bathrooms. The other two bedrooms are served by a third bathroom.

The Garden:
From the round room, you have direct exit to the exclusive 200 sq.m. terraced garden, facing south. From here you can enjoy an amazing 180° view, from the Adriatic sea on your left, to the Sibillini Mountains to your right, passing over the green rolling hills in the middle. With just one glance, you'll be able to see all the typical landscapes of the Marche region.

Being an active part of the life of Fermo will be very easy: you just have to go to Piazza del Popolo, which is just 200 metres away from the house to be involved in the daily life of the town and all the events that this cultural town organises.

Fermo is quite a lively place from a cultural and artistic point of view: weekly antique markets are organised in the summer and its lovely Teatro dell'Aquila has a rich program of shows all year around.
