JOB TITLE
SAFETY MANAGER *** HONG KONG / MACAU

One of the leading contractors in Asia is currently seeking high caliber professionals to fill the role of Safety Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for managing all safety related tasks/duties
• Facilitate a work environment that supports a safe and healthy culture
• Develop strategies and Implement the Occupational Safety & Health policy and objectives.
• To assist line departments in on-going assessment and recommendations for improvements
• To measure, monitor and evaluate Occupational Health & Safety performance and take preventive and corrective actions
• Organize regular Safety seminars and programs to promote awareness among staff.
• To plan and organize emergency evacuation procedures and drills to enhance the efficiency of response in case of emergencies.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Diploma / Degree in Safety / Engineering discipline or related
• At least 8-10 years working experience in Civil / Build projects in Hong Kong
• Registered Safety Officer (Hong Kong Labour Dept.) would be preferred
• Strong organizational and operational skills with excellent problem solving ability
• Self motivated individual, keen eye for detail and high degree of professionalism
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluent in Cantonese and English.
