Among them, featured Kolimbari area of Chania, as one of the most rational choice to buy a home, describing the area as historic, self-sufficient and environmentally unspoilt.

As highlighted in the article of "Telegraph", Kolimbari while located just 30 minutes from the airport of Chania, the level of construction activity and therefore the saturation of the region is extremely low.

"Not only is there a beach with blue flag, but a multitude of lagoons and bays that can be reached within 20 minutes from the center of Chania," was noted in the article.

So, Kolimbari is presented as one of the 20 best opportunities for investors in real estate.

The article continues: "With proper research and good advice, now is the time to "catch" a second home, somewhere you least expect it" urging the thousands of readers of the Telegraph for that.
