JOB TITLE

Senior Plumbing & Drainage Designer

An international Engineering Consultancy is looking to hire a Senior Plumbing & Drainage Designer for their operations in Hong Kong.
Our client is a multi-disciplined Engineering consultancy with a global presence, working on major projects in Hong Kong and Asia.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES

• Do you have your CEng status?

• Can you demonstrate your previous P&D design experience in a consultancy environment?

• Do you have 5+ years post qualification experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing the development of P&D designs and supplying engineering support to projects.

• Analyzing design requirements and recommending engineering solutions

• Interpreting and applying specifications when developing P&D system designs

• Conducting design calculations for plumbing systems

• Preparing, checking, and coordinating the release of project documentation as required

• Ability to plan, direct and coordinate engineering assignments to ensure that they meet objectives, schedules and budgets

• Participating in design reviews with internal and external customers

• Technical direction of other engineers, drafters, test operators and technicians on specific work assignments

• Striving for continuous improvement and teamwork in product development and processes.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must hold an original degree in Mechanical/Building Services Engineering.

• Minimum of 5 years' engineering experience. Previous P&D design responsibility a must.

• Must possess good English and Cantonese communication skills.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a self-motivated, innovative, mature, result-orientated attitude and ability to work independently.
