The entire area has recently gone through a massive urban re-generation. Excellent connection to the centre, as well as several trendy pubs, clubs and restaurants have made it one of the most popular areas among London's youth. Stratford, where the Olympics took place in 2012 and where the biggest urban shopping centre in Europe is located, is less than 1 mile away. Several beautiful parks (London Fields, Victoria Park) are also within walking distance.
