La Sence cottage is available for couples or solo travellers looking for a base during their search for a house in France. Situated on the Normandy/Mayenne boarder and very close to Brittany, the cottage is close to the towns of Domfront, Mayenne and Fougeres. There are several bars, restaurants, banks and shops close by which will enable guest to get a feel for the French way of life. The ferry ports of Caen, St Malo and Le Havre are within easy reach as are the airports of Dinard and Rennes.

Downstairs, the cottage has a large and sunny well equipped kitchen with an electric fan assisted oven, 5 ring gas hob, fridge/freezer and dish washer. Also provided are an electric kettle, microwave, toaster and a variety of pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. All towels and t-towels are provided. The south facing lounge/diner has a large dining table and four comfortable farmhouse chairs, a two seater sofa and a flat screen television. English satellite television is connected with a cd player for guests to play their films and music. Upstairs is a large master bedroom with a comfortable double bed, an en-suite shower room and a walk in wardrobe/dressing room. All bed linen and towels are provided. Outside is a paved and gravelled terrace with a dining table, benches and sun loungers with mattresses for guest use. The terrace is screened by mature plants and shrubs to provide privacy for guests. There is plenty of off road parking and secure storage for guests who arrive on motorbikes. Wi-Fi is connected and available for guest use.

Prices start from £120/149 Euros for a three night stay until the end of June. July and August is £135/ 168 Euros for a three night stay. September to the end of October is £120/149 Euros for a 3 night stay. For a seven night stay, until the end of June, the price is £250/ 310 Euros. During July and August, a seven night stay is £350/ 435 Euros. September to the end of October is £250/310 Euros. For extra nights or long term lets please contact the owner. The cottage is let on a self catering basis.
