About the village:

From Monte Lopez there is a bus which goes daily to the town of Martos. In Monte Lopez itself there is a small supermarket, a petrol station, bakery, fishmongers, bank with ATM, several bars and restaurants, Doctors surgery and Social Centre.

On Fridays there is a street market selling mainly fresh fruit and vegetable.

It is a typical Spanish village with many opportunities to integrate into the Spanish way of life and to enjoy the many fiestas which are held throughout the year. And especially the wonderful climate.

Monte Lopez is 14 kms from Martos via a newly tarmaced road. In Martos there are large supermarkets, library, banks, in fact you can get almost everything that you might need there. From Martos you can connect with the motorway network of Spain. From the bus station there is public transport connecting with almost anywhere in Spain. Also from Jaen (about half and hours journey) there are fast trains to most towns.

Some places of interest include: Martos, Alcala la Real, Jaen, Alcaudete, Cordoba, Priego de Cordoba, Cazorla, Zuheros, Granada, and of course the Costa del sol which is about a 2 housr drive.

Airports: Malaga (approx two hours and Granada approx one hour).
