JOB TITLE

TECHNICAL DIRECTOR – GEOTECHNICAL *** HONG KONG

An opportunity exists for a highly experienced Technical Director to join an International Consultancy to be based in East Asia.

Working for private and public sectors, you will be overseeing Civil and Structural international and local projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Oversee all projects undertaken directly
- Accountable for Technical Detailed designs, review submissions and specifications
- Liaise and work closely with Operations Director and Infrastructure & Transport Dept in pursuits of new projects on both local and international level, entailing business development mission, prepare fee proposals, and provide technical support
- Contributing to business growth and client relationships, strong commercial awareness and industry knowledge.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Degree in Civil / Structural / Geotechnical Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 15 years experience in design and project management
- Must be Chartered with relevant consulting engineering experience
- Familiar with Housing Authority, Architectural Services Dept., Buildings Dept. and GEO submissions for civil / structural / geotechnical works
- Strong design experience in civil projects, rail and planning will be an advantage. -- --International exposure would be a plus.
- High degree of professionalism and management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent in English and Cantonese
- Experience in Hong Kong projects is essential.
