We still have a few villas available in Stage 3 for sale and our accommodation villa is available for those who would like to experience life at the Grange by staying overnight in our fully furnished villa. What better way of discovering the benefits of living in a luxury Retirement Village than being a guest at one, and enjoy all that Berry has to offer while you stay. The accommodation villa is also available to residents to accommodate their visiting guests if they desire.

A Boutique Lifestyle

The Grange at Berry is a multi award winning boutique gated community of 60 retirement villas on 7 acres of landscaped grounds, with facades to suit the dominant Victorian architectural flavour of Berry. The beautifully appointed residences offer a mix of two bedrooms and two bedroom plus study and internal access to the garaging.

The Broughton Club provides an intimate resident lounge set around a proud fireplace, a large private function room, a games room including pool table, table tennis and indoor bowls, catering facilities, entertainment system where people can gather for those large events and a heated swimming pool. Other planned facilities include a BBQ area and hobby centre.

As well as a meeting place for residents and guests of the village “The Broughton Club” is a great place to entertain family and friends. Areas can be set aside for private functions by appointment. The grand children will absolutely love visiting.

When considering moving to a village such as The Grange at Berry it is vitally important to consider the calibre of the people behind it.

The directors of The Grange Estates (NSW) Pty Limited cut their teeth in the retirement village industry with two projects at Cromer on Sydney’s northern beaches. The first was a 38 villa addition to Willandra Village, arguably the most highly regarded village in the area. This was followed by delivery of a 90 villa sister village known as Willandra Bungalows. Willandra Bungalows was awarded the Housing Industry Association Award in 2002 for Best Specialist Accommodation of the Year in New South Wales, a feat now matched by The Grange at Berry in 2006.

Most importantly, the directors of Grange Estates (NSW) Pty Limited have a personal interest in the long term success of The Grange at Berry. This will ensure that senior executive level support is close at hand at all times to ensure resident’s expectations are met and exceeded, something not always provided by larger operators.

Berry & Districts

The historic south coast township of Berry is nestled between the larger centres of Kiama and Nowra. Berry oozes charm with its combination of cafes and special interest stores set amongst magnificent architecture. The character of the homes and their gardens contributes to a very special and comfortable environment.

The town enjoys access to larger centres by road or rail. The rail system links Berry to Wollongong and Sydney. Private bus services provide access to Nowra and the beautiful coastal towns of Gerroa and Gerringong.

A 10 minute drive towards the coast finds National Park which follows unspoilt Seven Mile Beach spreading from Gerroa to Shoalhaven Heads, while a similar trip into the tranquil hinterland takes the driver towards Kangaroo Valley and opens up access to the Southern Highlands. And, the pristine waters of Jervis Bay lie just 30 minutes south.

Our Service

Our staff are able to assist you as much or as little as you need as discreetly and unobtrusively as we can. They provide a link to all the additional services you may need from organising tours, to shopping or accessing health services. And a very experienced team sits behind this to ensure The Grange of Berry continues to evolve as residents needs and wishes change over time.

A range of Basic Services are provided for you with a very modest weekly recurrent charge. This charge covers your access to all common areas, maintenance of those areas, gardening of common areas, provision of a personal security system to each residence, staff on site during set hours Monday to Friday, all property insurance, council rates, water rates and costs of the village bus. You are responsible for your telephone, electricity and contents insurance. You may choose to look after the gardens in your private courtyard or pay a little extra for our maintenance team to tend it for you.
