Located on canal frontage on the Sunshine Coast, Kawana Waters Private Hostel has won a number of design awards for its creative environment and providing a comfortable atmosphere for our residents.

32 extra service fully furnished suites, each with ensuite, ceiling fans, heater, private phone line and 24 hour emergency call system

Each suite has a private balcony, some with private sitting room, large windows and doors with security grills and fly screens, allowing the rooms to receive cool breezes throughout the day

Our communal lounge and dining rooms allow our residents and their guests to enjoy a comfortable and home-like atmosphere with views over the canal frontage. A mini kitchen is also provided

Extra service facilities are also available, such as wider choice of food and beverage menus, valet laundry service, personalised physiotherapy and diversional therapy services, on-site hairdresser, cable TV access and regular bus-outings

Our beautifully maintained gardens and lawns allow our residents to enjoy the beautiful surrounding scenery whilst sitting in the large rotunda out under the covered sail areas.

As the largest private provider in Queensland, TriCare owns and operates 14 Aged Care Residences throughout southeast Queensland and 9 Retirement Communities across QLD, NSW and VIC.

Residents in our Aged Care Residences are provided with all meals, nursing and personal care, activities programs and laundry service. All centres are resident focused, promoting an environment where independence, dignity, respect and the optimum level of care are paramount.

Many TriCare Aged Care Residences offer special needs units to cater for residents who suffer from dementia. These secure environments provide pleasant gardens and recreational areas, allowing the wandering resident the freedom to move about safely without restraint.

Respite care is offered at most TriCare aged care facilities. This service provides those people who currently receive in-home assistance access to aged care facilities for up to 63 days in any financial year.

For residents who are able to afford the very best in nursing care and accommodation, TriCare provides private facilities with extra services at their hostels and a number of nursing centres. For an additional daily fee, residents enjoy single suites with private bathrooms, menu selection, alcoholic beverages with the evening meal, personalised care programs and luxurious surroundings.
