JOB TITLE

TUNNEL ENGINEERS - *** HONG KONG

Our Client is seeking Tunnel Engineers on several major projects. You will be working with a renowned Main Contractor who has been awarded numerous projects in East Asia.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Liaise with Site Manager/Tunnel Manager/Site personnel/Subcontractors to ensure the delivery of project
Coordinate site activities in preparation of tunneling work
Supervise tunneling works ensuring work is carried out effectively and to schedule and meet health and safety standards
Resolve any daily problems, offer alternative solutions
Monitor progress of works and Client specifications are met
Assist on all duties in order to meet deadlines.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Degree in Civil / Structural / Geotechnical Engineering or related discipline
Must have at least 4 years relevant working experience
Must have experience with HARD and SOFT ROCK, TBM, and DRILL & BLAST methods
Knowledgeable in latest design standards and codes
Familiar with geotechnical/structural/tunnel engineering and design
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with excellent team working ability
Fluent in Cantonese and English.
