This is a 187’ Fast Catamaran Passenger Ferry built in the U.K. in 2001. It has a passenger capacity of 440 in Standard, First Class and VIP areas. 4 MY diesel main engines coupled to water jets give it a max speed of 42 knots and a service speed of 38 knots. T-Foils with computerized ride control system create a very comfortable and seaworthy ride.
In September 2010, the Vessel was entirely overhauled and refitted and has not traded since then. As a consequence, regardless of her official age, the owners consider her as almost new.
Refit Features:
In 2014, seats and some internal walls were removed and placed safely into containers. The plan was to convert her into a yacht but it was decided not to carry out these works. The seats and walls are still in containers so modifications and/or upgrades of the passenger areas can be easily carried out if required. Vessel is currently out of the water in Italy.
The current condition and status of the vessel is that it can either be refitted to its original passenger ferry configuration by reinstalling seats, bulkheads, and interior or the conversion to a high speed luxury mega yacht can be completed. In either scenario there will need to be Class inspections/surveys to receive fresh Class status.
This ferry represents an excellent value and unique opportunity considering the condition, low operating hours, speed, and passenger capacity or yacht conversion potential.
