The village is close to the larger village of Rom, with its bar and village shop. A short drive to the market town of Lezay (largest weekly market in the area) which will satisfy most of your everyday needs. It is 40 minutes to Poitiers where there is city life and culture, plus the TGV link to UK and an airport served by a low cost airline, or 50 minutes to Angouleme and 1.35 to La Rochelle and the coast
