We recruit a Conference Producer (English - French Speaking).

We are currently seeking ambitious, success driven and confident Graduates who want to excel in a career in Conference Production

Role: * A producer is responsible for the project managing an event from idea conception through to final event execution and is involved in all parts of the event management cycle. This involves developing event concepts from paper through to 2-5 days high level events for some of the world leading business professionals.

Functions overview: * You will be responsible for the research, development and evaluation of event concepts to determine the commercial viability of each event and develop thought provoking content. Combining both desk research together with direct one-to-one research over the phone with past clients, speakers and independently sourced contacts to move beyond the “nice to have” and focus on the “must have content” which will drive delegate attendance. You will be responsible for speaker acquisition, identifying and securing market insights and contributions from the world’s foremost experts on each topic.

* Once an event has been produced you will responsible for briefing sales, marketing and operations teams to ensure the commercial success of the event. Ultimately, the Conference Producer is the driving force behind each campaign resulting in the opportunity for revenue generation through sales, ensuring future growth for the company. Successful candidates possess a balance of journalism, research, communications, public relations, and project management skills.

* The position will require moderate travel to attend events which the producer creates which could be both domestic and international. Applicants therefore need to have excellent client facing, customer management and interpersonal skills. Live events are all about preparing for every eventuality but as all event professionals will tell you that is not enough! You need to be able to think no your feet and make the best of every situation. Missions: * To produce conferences which meet the needs of our target markets and therefore generate revenue and profit ;

* To undertake focused research, write compelling conference programs and associated copy, recruit speakers, run conferences on site and to assume ownership for the end to end process of running successful conferences ;

* Responsible for developing and maintaining profitable conferences within quality, productivity, revenue and cost management targets set ;

* Comprehensive market research to track the specific information and business requirements relevant to the topic and target audience designated in the topic brief ;

* Comprehensive market research to establish the specific parameters of the target audience designated in the topic brief ;

* Continuous and comprehensive competitive research ;

* Develop a contact list of potential presenters appropriate for the conference program being developed Development of coherent, benefits driven copy outlining the proposed presentations and content of the conference programme being developed ;

* Inviting and confirming the required level and mix of presenters to produce and deliver a value driven conference ;

* Working with operations to ensure that presenters meet requirements for participating in the conference Managing budgets set for presenters ;

* Responsible for developing and presenting the marketing brief for the event with guidelines set ;

* Responsible for adding value to Marketing’s plan development, campaign implementation and results analysis ;

* Responsible for developing and presenting the delegate and sponsorship sales briefs for the event with guidelines set ;

* Responsible for supporting the delegate and sponsorship sales campaigns ;

* Assist in aiding Operation’s conference planning and conference management when required to do so ;

* Attend all conferences produced and perform all event management tasks required to ensure the smooth running of the event ;

* Responsible for managing client and speaker relations at the event ;

* Assist in developing and maintaining the division’s structure.
