The grounds are approx. 1,5km away from the centre of the authentic Cretan Village, and the position is just perfect for those looking for totally privacy and tranquillity. Access is gained via a 4m wide unpaved road, whereof the last 100m will have to be still constructed. Location

Neo Chorio is 22km far from the town of Chania in a hill viewing a valley of olive and orange groves. The village offers a unique traditional character combined with “kafenia” (coffee shops) for a Greek coffee or a cold gazoza (the local Cretan fizzy drink) and the best “souvlaki” in Crete! From the top of Neo Chorio northwards over the valley, the azure waters of the Mediterranean Sea are glimmering under the glory of the sun. There is the coastal village of Kalives. Kalives is now a popular tourist resort but still having preserved its Cretan traditional character.

In Kalyves there is a Venetian fort, a watermill of the Venetian Era as well as a number of Minoan Era tombs. Armeni village is located inland from Kalives on the north coast of the island, at the mouth of Souda Bay. This mainly agricultural village is shaded by platania trees and the Kiliaris River. The church of “Agios Nikolaos“ (Saint Nikolaos) is of imposing architecture giving an air of wealth to the village.
