Nestled at Emu Plains between the Nepean River and the Blue Mountains, Edinglassie Caring Centres offers either a bustling suburban lifestyle or relaxation in retirement. Edinglassie Caring Centres offers a full range of care and accommodation options in one location: self care units, a hostel and a nursing home.

In the hostel, each resident has a private room where all rooms have ensuites. Care staff are available 24 hours per day for low care assistance, if required. The home-like atmosphere encourages residents to maintain maximum independence. There are four double rooms designed for couples. We also offer hostel services at Edinglassie Lodge at Penrith.

Nursing home accommodation is for older people requiring assistance with daily living activities, persons with chronic disabilities requiring daily assistance and nursing care and persons with a terminal illness who cannot be cared for in their own homes. Nursing home residents have access to a 24-emergency call system with care staff on duty around the clock. Lounge, dining and living areas are located throughout the centre for the enjoyment of residents and their relatives.

Please note that an Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) assessment is required prior to entry into any residential care facility.
