The villa is only 15 minutes drive from the airport so your holiday can begin as soon as you leave the plane! In Caleta itself there are a good selection of restaurants, shops, a small marina and a safe, sandy beach ideal for families. The island is famous for its peace and quietness, goats, aloe vera, deep sea fishing, windsurfing and other water sports. If you enjoy haggling over prices, there is a colourful market on Saturday mornings in Caleta. Offers range from leather goods, to designer watches and sunglasses, beach clothes and genuine African wood carvings. There are plenty of bargains to be had! Cash machines and banks are plentiful. Almost everything you would expect to buy in an English town is available in Puerto del Rosario.
