This is a brand new opportunity to ensure that our clients’ business is compliant with legal and regulatory HR requirements. The role involves supporting business objectives by providing advice and support on all HR matters to staff and business managers.
Responsibilities include:
Resource planning, recruitment and selection
Respond to business needs for future staff requirements
Liaison with Recruitment agencies, the Population Office, other external agencies and internal bodies
Training and Development for the CI
Provide policy advice and guidance on employment law and best practice
Assist and support with the administration of the pension schemes as and when required
Ensure that recruitment and training is undertaken in line with budget
Travel to Guernsey will feature.
Key skills/competencies required:
Knowledge of legal regulatory and industry requirements
Knowledge of business processes, standards, policies and procedures.
Change management
Communication Skills (oral, written and presentation)
Counselling
Qualifications Required:
CPP
Chartered MCIPD Qualification is desirable
Candidates must be classified as ‘Entitled’ or ‘Entitled to Work’ under the Jersey Control of Housing & Work Law.
