On November 29, 1916 Mr. Josep Xipell owner of a land a little more than 1.800 m2 placed in the center of Tiana town situated on the Coast of Barcelona, he asks for permission to construct a Lordly French Style House, which covers about 340 m2 of Floor. The layout was signed by the architect Miguel Madorell i Rius. A building with one ground floor and two more floors, having French neoclassicist elements. Standing out the slate covering, the fence with the iron gate of the property, and the small arbor at the corner of the plot. From the inside of Can Xipell it distinguishes the central courtyard, with marble columns, covered with a skylight of glass led and decorated with original motifs. In the center of the courtyard there is a marble fountain, and the surface of the first floor is also of marble. In the entrance inside there is a porch with four ionic columns. The front frame is carefully restored, insulating outside foundations. The fence around the property is improved protecting it from rust, the original garden is preserved. Twelve independent apartments are fitted out, respecting the entrances and adapting them to the indoor of the property. The main entrance of the house including its stairs are preserved and improved, columns of marble, lamps, glass dome and other architectural jewels of the property.
