Product QA Engineer GSW (Global Shallow Water System) – Singapore

Responsibilities:
Perform QA activities in accordance with business processes and INS-0001010.
Main Tasks:
Monitor, verify and report on the implementation of Quality Systems in delivery projects.
Ensure relevant Project quality requirements are identified and communicated.
Initiate the need for any additional project specifications to address contract requirements in Purchase Orders to Suppliers.
Assist implementation of Supplier Development Process including supplier evaluation supplier selection, supplier development and supplier performance monitoring.
Monitor, verify and report on implementation of Project requirements at Suppliers
Monitor, verify and report on product conformity at FMC Singapore and Suppliers.

Perform project activities such as:Establish Project Quality Plan including Test and Inspection Plan (ITP)
Review and approve relevant FMC and Supplier’s Quality Plans and ITPs
Notify the Client of agreed Quality interventions
Follow up Purchase Orders
Follow up fabrication, assembly, test and Mechanical Completion
Perform final inspection and ‘Delivery to Customer’
Report on Quality activities to Supply/Project Manager and relevant involved parties.
Participate to project meetings as required
Submit input to project reports as required
Continually monitor and follow up project QNs and intervene when judged necessary
Perform project Audits, verifications and examinations as required
Contribute to the continual improvement of the FMC Singapore Quality System efficiency

Requirements/Qualifications:
Recognized Bachelors’ Degree preferably in a Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
Min. 3 years of working experience in project QA, preferably in oil & gas industry.
Good knowledge of ISO 9001 and API Q1 Quality System.
