Description:

This particular land for sale was cultivated for many years but due to major fires in the past, only a few olive trees have survived.

The land is easily accessed from the main road, and because of its mainly sloping shape, unobstructed views are guaranteed. Forestry permit is not granted yet, and the services such as water, electricity and telephone are available in the village itself, in a distance of 2km. On the land are left over two concrete water basins of 20m³ each, and having electricity by generator or solar will be an option.


Location

The village of Saktouria is 49km away from Rethymno, first mentioned in the Venetian Cenci of the 16th century, and is nowadays inhabited by farmers and fishermen. In the village itself is a kafenio and minimarket, frequently grocers are passing by, and during the season one will find at the seaside place of Agios Pavlos several taverns, restaurants, and mini-markets. Supermarkets, health centre, post etc are in the main village of Spili approx. 24km away.

The seaside village of Agios Pavlos is in a distance of 3km, and building works for a new connection road towards Agia Galini started already; which will get it close as of approx. 10km. The capital of the municipality, Spili, with all necessary facilities is in a distance of 25km.
