General Condition
The Pacemaker 36 was a popular boat in the late 1970's thanks to her rugged construction, comfortable accommodations, and classic good looks. Indeed, the 36 was considered a handsome design in her day although, she’s clearly dated by today’s styling standards. Built on a low-deadrise hull with a shallow keel and a well-flared bow, early models featured a two-stateroom interior with the galley in the salon, a standard lower helm, and a shower stall in the head.
In all of these interiors, the combination of solid teak joinery, good headroom, and large cabin windows create a comfortable and relaxing setting for entertaining or cruising. With 80 square feet of space, the cockpit is roomy enough for a couple of anglers and their gear. Topside, bench seating forward of the helm will seat three guests. Standard 270hp gas engines cruise the Pacemaker 36 at 16–17 knots (about 25 knots top), and optional 350hp gas engines cruise at 18 knots and reach a top speed in the high 20s.
Actual Condition
This 36' Pacemaker is certainly a head-turner. She’s been kept and maintained very well considering her age. This sturdy hull still has original gel coat. The current owner had made some upgrades to her since he has owned her. New cushions throughout the V berth, bunk room, upper deck. He had replaced the hull liner, added new carpet and refrigerator. The AC will sure keep you cool throughout the cabin. You will have all the amenities of home.
