ASSISTANT BUILDING SURVEYOR

Our client is an international properties management company that focuses on mixed use commercial properties. They are currently looking for an Assistant Building Surveyor due to the expansion of their portfolio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparing scheme designs with costings, programmes for completion of projects and specification of works;
• Organizing documents for tender and advising on appointing contractors, designers and procurement routes;
• Determining the condition of existing buildings, identifying and analyzing defects, including proposals for repair;
• Advising on energy efficiency, environmental impact and sustainable construction;
• Advising on the management and supervision of maintenance of buildings;
• Dealing with planning applications and advising on property legislation and building regulations;
• instructing on construction design and management regulations;

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Degree in Building Surveying or related discipline
• Minimum 2 years in Building Surveying
• Experience in tendering and contracting works
• Immediate availability would be an advantage
• Good knowledge in the use of MS office
• Fluent in English and Cantonese
